5 Minute Meditation

I thought I would give you something a little different his week. I have been studying the benefits of meditation recently and wow it really does help your body more than you think.

Studies show that 20 minutes of meditation a week will bring about wonderful changes in your life. Check out some of them below:

  • More Focus
  • Strengthens Immunity
  • Less Depression and Anxiety
  • Enhances self esteem
  • Increases optimism
  • Helps prevent emotional eating
  • Improves mood
  • Better decision making and problem solving
  • Increases memory retention
  • Reduces blood pressure
  • Lessens inflammatory disorders

It seems that being still and taking some time out to be calm is a pretty good idea. It has certainly helped me find more focus and calm any underying anxiety.
